Power Road Studios

Power Road Studios comprises a group of buildings providing a variety of accommodation with flexible short and medium-term lease options for start-up and SME businesses. A variety of new build and refurbishment projects will modernise the accommodation and provide high quality and flexible industrial style office space.

The buildings form a campus environment with managed office spaces and shared café and welfare facilities. Previously part of the BBC estate used for editing and technical support, the buildings now accommodate a variety of business, including many from the film and media industries.

Following the recent acquisition of the development by Helical, projects have included a major refurbishment of half of Studio 1 (c. 22,000 sq.ft., now complete), the scheme design for a new build rooftop extension to Studio 1 (c13,500 sq.ft., currently at planning application stage), the scheme design for a New Build Studio 5 (c. 36,000 sq.ft., currently at planning application stage) and the development of a site wide masterplan to facilitate further site development.
