We're thrilled to announce that Scotch Partners has been awarded a silver medal in our latest EcoVadis sustainability assessment, advancing from bronze in our first year. This achievement places us in the 93rd percentile of all organisations rated by EcoVadis in the last 12 months – firmly within the top 7% worldwide.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is a global sustainability ratings platform that evaluates organisations across four themes:
The assessment process consists of completing a tailored questionnaire, which takes into considerations individual company size, location, and industry on a company-by-company basis. This requires data collection across a range of areas and providing support documentation for each response.
Based on this information, EcoVadis generates a scorecard and, where applicable, awards the company with a bronze, silver, gold or platinum medal. Other recognition includes ‘Committed’ and ‘Fast Mover’ badges, which acknowledges special efforts where the criteria for a medal hasn’t been reached. This process is repeated annually.
Silver medals are awarded to organisations scoring within the top 15%, making this a significant milestone for Scotch Partners.
A Year of Progress
We received our first EcoVadis rating in 2024, when we achieved a bronze medal for placing in the top 17% of rated organisations. As a small business in our first year of reporting, we were so proud of this, and with the clear feedback given by EcoVadis, we were confident that we could use this to improve our score going forward.
Over the past year, we have undertaken considerable work to further strengthen our policies, measures, and reporting. And we couldn’t be more pleased that our efforts have had such meaningful impact, with our scores improving across all four themes and resulting in a silver medal.
We also performed above the industry average in every area, demonstrating the progress we’ve made in embedding sustainable practices throughout our operations.
The Team Behind the Achievement
This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and expertise of our team. A special thanks goes out to Joanne, one of our Sustainability Consultants, who worked tirelessly to coordinate the entire submission process. Working closely with our Business Operations team, Joanne gathered evidence across all sustainability criteria, ensuring every aspect of our work was accurately represented.

Beyond the core team, colleagues across Scotch Partners have been fantastic with getting on board with all of our implemented changes to embed better sustainability practices in our day-to-day running. It’s been a true company-wide effort, and this silver medal recognises everyone’s commitment to building a more responsible workplace.
Looking Ahead
Achieving silver is an important milestone, but we see it as a stepping stone rather than a destination. We’re committed to continuing our sustainability journey, with plans to further strengthen our performance across the EcoVadis themes in the years ahead.
Our focus remains on taking meaningful action that creates real impact – whether that's reducing our environmental footprint, enhancing our ethical practices, or supporting our supply chain partners to raise their sustainability standards. We'll continue to use the EcoVadis framework to measure our progress and hold ourselves accountable.
