Scotch Partners Awarded Bronze Sustainability Medal by EcoVadis

As part of our commitment to the environment, our people and wider society, Scotch Partners has committed to complete an annual assessment of our sustainability practices through EcoVadis. EcoVadis assesses an organisation’s performance across 21 sustainability criteria covering four important themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. To date, EcoVadis has rated more than 130,000 organisations.

In our first rating, which was awarded in September 2024, we earned a bronze medal and scored in the 83rd percentile of all organisations rated by EcoVadis in the last 12 months (i.e., the top 17%). Bronze medals are awarded to organisations who score in the top 35% of those rated by EcoVadis, whilst silver medals are awarded to those scoring in the top 15%. As a small business in our first year of reporting, we’re incredibly proud of our score.

Across all four themes, we scored higher than our industry’s average. This gives us a great basis to improve our score over the coming years. EcoVadis provides clear recommendations for improvement: some of these recommendations will be implemented in the short term, whilst we’ll aim to integrate others into our business practices over time. Looking forward, we’re aiming to achieve a silver medal next year.
