Our Sustainability team thoroughly enjoyed working on the iconic Old Vinyl Factory Site in Hayes and are delighted to hear that both The Material Store and The Boiler House have been shortlisted for Housing Project of the Year at the British Construction Industry Award!
The Old Vinyl Factory is a exciting site with an impressive history as one of the largest regeneration projects in West London, will be home to a new community of more than 630 apartments with commercial and leisure facilities including restaurants, shops, cafes and bars.
Both developments provide residents with great transport links and significant communal roof garden space. Sustainability was considered at all stages of the design process enabling both developments to achieve CSH Level 4 for the residential units and BREEAM Very Good for the Retail units.
We wish both project teams the best of luck at the awards ceremony in October.
