Scotch Partners took part in the Lidl BananaMan Triathalon in July, entering four teams and four individuals.
Each team comprised male and female participants with Hannah, Alex, Kial and Jacob all entered for the individual events. Kial and Jacob took part in the SuperSprint distance event (400m swim, 21.2km bike, 5km run) while Alex and Hannah took part in the Whole Banana (800m swim, 31.8k cycle, 7.5km run).
The teams covered the SuperSprint distance with one person undertaking each leg of the race.
The weather was sunny and warm which was good for the swimmers but the heat took its toll on the cyclists and runners who bravely fought the increasing heat to finish with creditable times.
